CHAMPION HAS A PERFECT SENIOR NIGHT

WARREN OH- Champion’s softball team celebrated senior night in grand style, as Gabby Gradishar pitched another perfect game to lead her team to a resounding 17-0 victory over Liberty.

From the start, Champion’s offense came out swinging, putting pressure on Liberty’s defense with a relentless display of hitting. Leading the charge was senior pitcher Gabby Gradishar, who not only dominated in the circle but also shone at the plate. Gradishar went 3-3 with a home run, driving in one run and scoring four times herself. She showcased her all-around talent, contributing both on offense and defense to secure the win for her team.

Adding to the offensive onslaught were Addie Warzala, who went 3-4 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored, and Bella Meyer, who went 2-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Mia Nadaud also made her presence felt with a home run and two RBIs, going 1-2 at the plate.

In the circle, Gradishar was simply untouchable. Over five innings, she didn’t allow a single hit, run, or walk, striking out an impressive 15 batters. Her flawless performance earned her yet another perfect game, highlighting her dominance on the mound and her importance to the team’s success.

The win was a fitting tribute to Champion’s seniors, showcasing their talent and leadership as they look ahead to the postseason. With Gradishar leading the way, Champion remains a force to be reckoned with in the league.
