CARDS SEE IT THROUGH ON A SATURDAY

TOLEDO OH- Canfield faced a tough challenge on Saturday and emerged victorious with a 7-4 win over St. John Jesuit.

The Canfield offense came through with clutch hits, led by Michael Patellis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Dylan Mancini contributed with a 1-for-3 performance, driving in two runs and scoring once himself. Tanner Stricko went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a walk, and a run scored, while Zain Jadallah added another RBI and scored a run on his 1-for-4 outing.

On the mound, Ryan Webbing got the start for Canfield and pitched three solid innings, allowing just two hits and one run while striking out five. Will Murphy came in for relief, pitching two innings, allowing only one hit, and striking out three batters to secure the win for Canfield.

With this victory, Canfield passed a significant test and showcased their offensive firepower and pitching depth.
