QUAKERS CONTINUE WINNING WAYS

SALEM OH- The Quakers continued a strong start to the season with a second 5-0 win over United Wednesday.  Salem got the sweep in straight sets at all 5 positions – Nick French and Christian Chappell remained undefeated on the season after winning 6-2, 6-2 at #1 doubles. Drake Harkleroad and Luke Deland got the second doubles win, and the singles players of Tyler Parker, Zach Parker, and Sophie Faulenbach all got solid wins.

The JV squad also got wins from Micah Fox, Camron Bodine, Emmit Harkleroad, and Garrett Menough.

 

Salem stays on the courts Thursday as they take on EBC rival West Branch.

SALEM BLANKS THE WILDCATS

SALEM OH- The Quakers Tennis Team moved to 3-1 on the season with a strong 5-0 win over Canton South.

Luke Deland rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 win at #3 singles to start the sweep, which was soon solidified by wins at #1 singles by Tyler Parker and #2 singles Zach Parker. The doubles teams of Nick French and Christian Chappell and Drake Harkleroad and Camden Sampson also won in straight sets.

Salem will look to keep winning on Wednesday as they host United.

QUAKERS LEAVE LORDSTOWN OUT TO DRY

SALEM OH- The Salem girls tennis team earned a win over Lordstown 4-1 on Monday night. Here are the final scores:

SALEM OH- The Quakers girls tennis team won a close match with Beaver Local
3-2 on Thursday night. The Wuakers dropped both doubles matched, but were able to dominate the singles, only dropping 1 game in 3 matches.

QUAKERS GET FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

SALEM OH-

The Salem Quakers Boys Tennis Team got their first win of the season against Lordstown. Lordstown got their 2 points by winning at #1 singles as senior Brock Pyles defeated junior Tyler Parker 6-1, 6-2, and at #1 doubles as seniors Jack Paisley and Aiden Force defeated Christian Chappell and Nick French 6-2, 6-2. Lordstown defaulted at #3 singles, and #2 doubles. SALEM- Spring sports got its glorious return on Friday night as tennis opened the slate. United went to Salem and dominated the Quakers in a 5-0 match win.

CORTLAND OH- The Struthers girls tennis team went to Lakeview yesterday and came away with the 3-2 victory. Playing singles yesterday was Daniella Mendel, Marissa Slaina and Olivia Tondy. Doubles were Ella Croyle/Emmah McConahy and Aley Baker/Emily Meadors. In JV action, Alison Barbato came away with a win! The girls are now 5-3 on the season.
