FALCONS GET THE JUMP ON KNIGHTLINE

STRUTHERS OH- In a Class B Baseball 16U make-up game at Bob Cene Park on Tuesday, the Astro Falcons made quick work of Knightline, cruising to a commanding 13-0 victory. From the first pitch, the Falcons showed they meant business, with their hitters and pitchers dominating every aspect of the game.

Taco Verraco led the offensive onslaught, going 2-3 with 4 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. Bryson Zirwas also contributed significantly, driving in 3 runs with a 1-2 performance at the plate and drawing a walk. Tyler Wilson was perfect at the plate, going 1-1 with 2 RBIs and a walk, while Gavin Hiscox reached base four times, finishing 1-1 with 1 RBI and 3 walks. Rowan Urbach added to the tally with a 1-3 effort, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Logan Patellis chipped in with a 1-3 performance, 1 RBI, and a run.

On the mound, Bryson Zirwas pitched three strong innings, allowing no runs and just 2 hits while striking out 3. Joe Gabriel came in for the final two innings, maintaining the shutout by giving up only 2 hits and striking out 2.
