FALCONS STORM AHEAD TO START IN MYRTLE BEACH

AUSTINTOWN OH- Austintown Fitch opened their trip to Myrtle Beach on Tuesday night with an emphatic run rule victory over Myrtle Beach High School 17-2.

Sydnie Watts led the offensive torrent grabbing 3 hits and 2 RBI. Ayla Ray, Madi Beaudis, Rachel Spalding, and Sam Severn all had multiple hits. Spalding added a RBI.

Watts combined with Kayla Schubert for a combined no hitter. Watts threw 3 innings and struck out nine. Schubert went two innings and struck out 3.

Fitch continues their play in Myrtle Beach Wednesday morning at 8:00. They’ll play Archbishop Spalding out of Maryland. They are the number 3 team in the state.
