FOURTH INNING FIESTA PROPELS EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS, OH- A big fourth frame helped Eagle Wear push past Knightline 12-6 on Sunday Afternoon.  Leading the way for Eagle Wear was the trio of Walter Sweeney with 3 RBI, and Ricky Enlow and Jack Pawlowicz with 2 RBI each.  Donny Shimko was a burglar on the base paths with a pair of stolen bags, while Zach Lordo and Brett Palmer each nabbed a bag as well.

On the mound Josh Corll kept doing what he’s been doing all season, and that’s standing toe-to-toe with Class B hitters.  Corll went 6 innings and scattered 10 hits while giving up 6 runs (4 earned) and whiffing a pair.

Trevor Strohmeyer would take the ‘L’ for Coach Otto’s, Knightline.  Strohmeyer pitched 3 innings and surrendered 8 (6 earned) while walking 5 and striking out 2.  Jake Lawrence split the duties on the bump, striking out 4 and walking 3.

Gabe Faunda would key the Knightline offense with a triple and an RBI, Brady Dixon went 1-3 with an RBI as well.
