GRADISHAR COLLECTS CAREER MILESTONES IN CHAMPION WIN

LEAVITTSBURG OH- Champion notched another impressive MVAC win on Wednesday while also celebrating some major milestones. Gabby Gradishar reached her 100th career hit and her 400th career strikeout in the same game.

At the plate, Gradishar led the charge for Champion, going 2 for 3 with a home run, an RBI, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored. Bella Meyer and Bella Weber each contributed with 2 hits, with Meyer driving in 2 runs and Weber scoring twice. Grace Hadley added another hit and an RBI while drawing a walk and crossing the plate twice. Addie Warzala chipped in with a hit and a walk.

In the circle, Gradishar was dominant, pitching a complete game and allowing just 1 earned run on 5 hits while racking up an impressive 17 strikeouts.

On the LaBrae side, Riley Rowe led the offense with a 2 for 3 performance and scoring a run, while Leah DeArmitt drove in a run. Mariah Jones and Shelby Bragg each contributed with a hit.

In the pitching department, DeArmitt and Rowe combined for 7 innings, surrendering 10 hits and 5 earned runs. Rowe struck out 4 batters, while DeArmitt struck out 1.
