RAIDERS LAY SIEGE TO STRUTHERS

CANFIELD OH- South Range put on a show in their conference matchup against Struthers on Wednesday, racing to a dominating 21-0 run-rule victory.

The Raiders’ offense was firing on all cylinders, with Keira Brogan leading the charge by going a perfect 4 for 4 with 3 RBI and scoring 4 runs herself. Giada Pauline contributed with a 2 for 3 performance, driving in 3 runs and scoring twice, while Solena DeJesus went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Ashley Rupert and Jayli Wilt each had a big day at the plate, with Rupert going 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored, and Wilt going 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Anna Aey also made her mark, going 1 for 1 with an RBI and scoring a run.

In the circle, Rupert was lights out, tossing a complete game shutout. In 5 dominant innings, she allowed just 1 hit while striking out 7 batters.

Struthers struggled to get anything going offensively, with Emma Morris recording the lone hit for the team, going 1 for 2.
