IRISH HAVE THEMSELVES A DAY
COLUMBIANA OH- Ursuline dominated Columbiana on Saturday, securing a commanding 12-0 victory. The Irish exploded for 11 runs in the third inning, propelling them to the win.
Ursuline’s offense was firing on all cylinders, led by Luke Kollar who went 1-for-3 with 3 RBIs and 1 run scored. AJ Snyder had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored, while Rowan Urbach contributed with a 1-for-2 performance, driving in 2 RBIs and scoring a run. CJ Frasco also chipped in with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
On the mound, Joe Balog delivered a stellar performance for Ursuline, pitching a complete game shutout. Balog allowed just 2 hits and struck out 8 batters in 5 innings of work. For Columbiana, Devin Daugherty and Colin Keleman each recorded a hit.
