JAYS TAKE BATTLE OF TWO MVAC CHAMPIONS

NORTH JACKSON, OHIO – A matchup of both MVAC champions gave the fans a nail biter that Jackson Milton came out on the winning end 4-3 over LaBrae.

LaBrae seemed to be in control through the first four and a half innings, but that was when Jackson Milton put their foot down and made their move offensive with one run in the fourth, 3 in the fifth, and one run in the sixth to break the 3-3 tie and eventually give the Blue Jays the win, an RBI single by Owen McDevitt.

Drew Sloan led his team on the mound and to a win. Sloan pitched six very strong innings only allowing three hits and three runs with seven strikeouts. One inning of relief work came from McDevitt, and it happened to be the last inning to close out the game.

Billy Sloan, Jaidyn Henry, McDevitt, Caden Ruby, and Aaren Romigh each came away with one hit a piece, and the final line for Jackson Milton reads four runs on five hits with three errors on defense which equaled the amount of errors that LaBrae committed.
