PROSPECTS PLUNDER THE NIGHT

STRUTHERS OH- Thursday night at Bob Cene Park, the Prospects took down Eagle Wear 8-5 in 16U Class B Baseball, thanks to a seven-run explosion in the third inning.

Austin Rowe snagged the win in relief for the Prospects, while Lou Zorella took the loss for Eagle Wear out of the bullpen.

Aidan Anders led the charge for the Prospects with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Brandon Toot added two hits and a run, while Santino Minniti smacked a three-run double and scored. Terry Werner chipped in with a two-run double.

For Eagle Wear, Cole Gamertsfelder had two hits and a run, and Chayse Hiscox hit an RBI double. Despite their efforts, Eagle Wear couldn’t overcome the Prospects’ big inning.
