BEAVERS OFFENSE ROLLS AGAIN

CADIZ OH- The Beavers picked up another blowout victory, dominating Buckeye 8 opponent Harrison Central by a final of 65-7

After Beaver Local forced a punt on the first drive of the game for the Huskies, Caleb White took a hand-off 99 yards on the first play from scrimmage, and the Beavers were off to a 7-0 start. Harrison Central then fumbled on their first play the ensuing drive, and it was another 1 play TD drive for the Beavers, as Austin Cline threw his 1st of 3 TD passes on the day, this one to Dylan Ferguson from 24 yards out and in the blink of an eye it was 13-0 Beaver Local. They added a 31 yard FG from Kaleb Mays, a safety on special teams, and a 3 yard TD run from Hayden Beebout to get it to 25-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Huskies finally had an answer to start the second quarter, as Hayden Cassidy hit Parker Hutton for an 18 yard score to cut it to 25-7. Beaver Local went out and responded though, as Cline hit Ferguson again for a 53 yard TD to push the lead back up 32-7.

Cline’s 3rd TD pass of the day was a bit of a scramble drill where he found White in the back of the end zone from 10 yards out which made it 38-7 at the break. The second half was all defense for Beaver Local, as they had three straight pick sixes to push the lead up to 58-7. Caden Foster, Tyler Prideau, and Keaton Heddleston all registered interception returns for a TD. BEAVERS EARN A SWEEP OF INDIAN CREEK

Peyton Roberts led the Beavers offense with 9 kills. She also served up 3 aces, and gathered 6 digs. Aleia Evanko set up the offense with 13 assists. BEAVER LOCAL WEATHERS GOLDEN TORNADOES

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- The Beavers picked up a big time win on Friday night, defeating the Keyser Golden Tornado 31-10.

The Beavers started the game out on fire. They forced a three and out and took the ball downfield on a methodical TD drive capped off by a 4 yard TD pass from Austin Cline to Dylan Ferguson to make it 7-0 early. A field goal a few minutes later made it 10-0 Beavers, but the West Virginia AA school wasn’t going to make the long trip and not put up a fight. They put up a field goal of their own early in the second quarter and a TD run from Tristen Root to tie the game.

Austin Cline responded quickly as he ran in a 15 yard TD to make it 17-10 at the half. In the second half, the Beavers played in a way we haven’t seen all year. They were able to answer some early season questions about their line play and run defense by shutting out the Keyser Golden Tornado in the second half, stifling their run game which had picked up steam before the half. A couple Caleb White TDs sealed the deal, as he ran one in from 20 out in the third and in the 4th, he caught a 22 yard TD to put the game on ice. The 2 touchdowns for the Big Dog of the Valley nominee puts him at 10 scores in the last 3 weeks and 13 scores on the season, as the Beavers picked up the W.

They will entertain Oak Glen, another West Virginia team next week for their homecoming matchup.
