NO DOUBTING IT, THOMAS IS FOR REAL

BELOIT OH- In the world of West Branch girls’ soccer, there’s a name that shines brightly, a name synonymous with leadership, excellence, and an unyielding commitment to the game: Bri Thomas. As a senior captain and one of eleven accomplished seniors on the team, Bri has been instrumental in West Branch’s remarkable nine-year reign as Eastern Buckeye Conference (EBC) champions. Her dedication and skill have played a pivotal role in the team’s continued success, both in the past and the present.

In the previous season, West Branch boasted an impressive 15-1-3 record, with Bri Thomas emerging as a linchpin of their success. She contributed seven crucial goals and five assists, leaving an indelible mark on the team’s journey. Bri’s outstanding performances did not go unnoticed, as she earned accolades such as a spot on the All-Region team and the prestigious title of “Youngstown Miss Soccer.” Additionally, she was named 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-District, further solidifying her reputation as a standout player in the soccer community.

WARRIORS CLINCH 7TH STRAIGHT EBC CROWN

SALEM OH-

The Lady Warriors clinched their 7th straight EBC title, beating Salem 3-0 at Sebo Stadium. Addy Jones opened the scoring in the first half off an assist from Jillian Pidgeon. Pidgeon would find the back of the net twice in the second half to seal the win. Sophia Gregory provided an assist to Pidgeon’s first goal. Amanda Davidson recorded the shutout, making 7 saves on the evening. Davidson was aided by strong play from her defenders – Maria Manley, Alexis Gregory, Bri Thomas and Sarah Bungard.

They improve to 13-1-2 on the season.

The Lady Warriors will host the winner of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin and Crestwood in tournament action on Thursday, 10/22.
