EAST PALESTINE FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER WITH TONY FOSTER (EP 3)

A tough road loss to United for the Bulldogs in Week 4 put a kink in the plans to start strong in the EOAC, but the Bulldogs will look to get the train back on the track against Wellsville.  Coach Foster preached consistency in the first weeks CC, and talks about if the talking led to walking, and where the Bulldogs turn their attention back to their winning ways in Week 5.

YSN’s DJ Yokley sits down with Coach Foster to get inside the huddle and all your in-depth Bulldog coverage this week on EP Coach’s Corner with Tony Foster (EP 3.)

EP’S MAN OF STEELE

It’s no surprise that there’s a buzz in Bulldogville over the success the football team has had the past few years.  East Palestine is pushing to get back to their winning ways in 2018, and after a tough open to their EOAC schedule, they look to right the ship against Wellsville.

Leading the Brown and White is a young man whose life revolved around football since he could pick one up.  EP’s Parker Sherry has been patiently waiting for his time to shine, and that time is now upon us.  Sherry is a leader and a magician on the field, but what’s even more impressive is the work he does outside the lines and in the community.

Parker prides himself on helping the younger generation of Bulldogs grow, and be excited about the game of football, and all it has to offer.

Before he makes any major announcements about his future, Sherry wants to focus in on the present.  A young man whose middle name speaks volumes in the reflection of his character, and work ethic.

DANTE’S INFERNO

A week after falling short to cross-town rival, South Range, the Crestview Rebels sparked back to life scoring over 60 points on perennial powerhouse Warren JFK.

Amidst the action on the front lines was a beast of a boy named Dante Pelino.  The Crestview Senior is built like an American Action Hero you’d see in the movies, and for the Rebels, he’s just the real-life action hero they’re looking for to ignite the rest of their season in hopes of a post-season push.

A ROLE OF THE TICE

When Wellsville Junior Jason Tice took the field this year it was a feeling of deja vu.  After a year off to focus on his wrestling career, Tice came back to Coach Ramsey’s Brigade a different football player.

One that is faster, smarter, and more focused.  This early start to the Tigers season has been spotlighted by numerous outlets, and have garnered the attention and recognition from the state in regards to their rankings.

The season comes to midway this week, and our Gary Althiser checks in with the Tiger standout to find out exactly what is: A ROLE OF THE TICE

WEEKLEY IS STRONG IN WELLSVILLE

It’s been a turnaround season down in Wellsville, and one of the big reasons is one of the main guys up front who rarely takes a snap off, and that man is Caden Weekley.

After a big win against EOAC foe Lisbon, Weekley and the Tigers are on the hunt for their first conference title.

Our Gary Althiser sits down with Wellsville Sophomore, Caden Weekley to discuss how this Tiger team is growing daily.

This week’s Wellsville Player Profile is: WEEKLEY IS STRONG IN WELLSVILLE!

BEAVER LOCAL FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER WITH MIKE MCKENZIE (EPISODE 3)

This week our Michael McKenzie wanted to shake things up a bit with his interview.  Instead of interviewing the Head Coach (who he knows particularly well) he decided to interview the Co-Offensive Coordinators of the Beavers, Coaches Derrick Stickles and Jess Krulik.

Michael finds out if a team can put too much importance on a rivalry game.

All that and more on this Week’s Beaver Local Coach’s Corner (Ep 3.)

CARDINAL MOONEY FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER WITH PJ FECKO (EP 3)

If you’ve ever been inside the gymnasium at Cardinal Mooney, it serves as a constant reminder of rich winning tradition everywhere you look.  Quite literally, the walls are blanketed in championship banners from pillar to post.

The 2018 Cardinals have been tasked with adding to those walls under one of the toughest schedules in the state of Ohio.  They have yet to blink.  Sure- they want to win, but humble warriors in defeat are the most dangerous of all.

Head Coach PJ Fecko sits down with our Steve Leslie to discuss the opportunities ahead for the Cards in this week’s Cardinal Mooney Coach’s Corner!

JOHNNY BE GOOD

The Cardinals are looking to fly high once again, and it all starts and stops at quarterback.  Luckily for Coach Fecko and Cardinal Mooney- they’ve got a great one.

Not only great on the field, but an absolute stand-up young man off the field.

Our Steve Leslie sits down with John Murphy to discuss everything in the playbook, as well as some stuff you’ll want to hear to get a little better understanding of the great character that comes from Mooney’s QB1.

What’s it like to have a great support system?  What’s Johnny’s favorite food?  What teams does he follow?
