POTTERS CANT FIND GOOD FORTUBE IN WINTERSVILLE

WINTERSVILLE OH- Both East Liverpool and Indian Creek came into Week 2 wanting a win. Liverpool wanted to build off momentum from Week 1, while the Redskins wanted to find momentum after dropping their first game, it was Creek that would find all the fortunate breaks as they beat the Potters 26-14.

After Indian Creek scored first, East Liverpool put together a drive trying to to tie the game. A Michael Hardy 5 yard touchdown run put them within one, but the conversion failed and they still trailed 7-6.  The Redskins weren’t phased by the Potters score though as a couple more big plays gave them a 20-6 lead by halftime.

Indian Creek would swing the door open for a Potters comeback as they fumbled on a fake punt. The turnover set up a touchdown run by Gavin Wright.  It put the Potters within a score 20-14.  Indian Creek would once again answer as another score would seal the deal 26-14.

East Liverpool will need to bounce back in Week 3 as they have a big road test in Salem.
