PYMATUNING VALLEY GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MICHAEL COLE

ANDOVER OH- The Pymatuning Valley Lakers girls basketball team will have a new look at the head coach position this season with Michael Cole taking the reins. Longtime coach in the sport of basketball, Coach Cole looks to bring continued success to a team that won 15 games last season.

Looking to be contenders for the top spot in The Northeastern Athletic Conferences (NAC) Stars Division and step-up from their second place finish in the conference a year ago. The Lakers will open the season on Monday, November 25th in a home non-conference game against The Berkshire Badgers with a 7 p.m. tip-off.

YSN looks forward to another year of being the streaming home of Lakers basketball as we gear you up with this season preview as Ty Bartell talks with Coach Cole about impact players this year, the conference outlook and the support from the Andover community.

WARREN OH- Champion has always been an exciting program to watch on the basketball floor.  They know how to win.  Last season injuries hurt their chances, but with only a single senior graduating, everyone is coming back and as healthy as ever.  In a very competitive MVAC conference, the Flashes will need every ounce of their experienced roster.  They open the season on Friday November 24th at Lakeview in a back yard rivalry game.

Coach Michael Cole was kind enough to give his time to talk with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig to preview the new season.  He talked about the pace he thinks they can play, what the MVAC may look like this year, and much more. Check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Michael Cole.

WARREN OH- Champion is quickly becoming one of the most consistently successful programs in the area. They are making yet another trip to the district championship on Saturday. Their third consecutive trip to the championship game comes against the exact same opponent that it has the previous two seasons. The Flashes meet up with Garfield for the third time this season in what is quickly becoming a big rivalry in the high school basketball world.
