RAMS CONTINUE TO ROLL

MINERAL RIDGE OH- The Rams were led by Senior Jake Sylak’s 34 and Freshman Trey Rigley’s 43 (personal best). Also scoring for Ridge was Senior Christopher McMahan’s 49 and Sophomore Hayden Lengyel’s 53(personal best). Blaine Spitler shot a 55 and Keaton Kucera shot a 65. The team improved to 9-2, 5-2 on the year. Next up the Rams travel to Springfield tomorrow.

RIDGE CONTINUES TO LOOK IMPRESSIVE

JACKSON MILTON OH- The lady rams improved to a record of 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in the conference with the victory tonight. The rams were led by Katelyn Lesko with 13 kills and 9 digs, Danielle Aulet with 11 digs and 26 assists and Morgan Sigley with 8 digs. Jackson Milton now 1-1 for the season were led by Logan Grunder with 14 kills and 6 blocks, Kylie Wilson with 8 digs and Paige Grope with 7 assists.

RAMS DOMINATE VIKINGS IN OPENER

MINERAL RIDGE OH- Mineral Ridge Volleyball started off the season with an impressive 3-0 win over LaBrae on Monday (25-14 25-21 25-13).

Leaders for the lady rams were Hannah Loeb with 7 kills, Danielle Aulet with 22 assists and Katelyn Lesko with 7 digs. The lady rams are now 1-0 for the season.

The Rams will open up conference play on Tuesday and travel to Jackson Milton.

RIDGE BACK TO WINNING WITH FIRST PLACE FINISH

LAKE MILTON OH- Jake Sylak led the Rams to another first place finish on Friday beating out Jackson Milton, and Badger. Individual scores are as follows.

SYLAK TIES RECORD ROUND IN RAMS WIN

BENTON OH- Jake Sylak tied the 9 hole record at Mineral Ridge to lead the Rams to a victory over Sebring on Wednesday.

RIDGE DRIVES HOME VICTORY OVER TIGERS

LAKE MILTON OH- Mineral Ridge Boys Golf team looked strong on Tuesday with a 184-231 win over Springfield at Old Dutch Mill.

Jake Sylak led the Rams shooting a 39. Christopher McMahan shot a 45. Nick Allen shot a 50, and Trey Rigley also shot a 50.

For the Tigers, Justin Melemore had their best round shooting a 47. Justin Brungard shot a 58. Donovan Mitque shot a 59, and Kara Swasinger shot a 67.

RIDGE RIDES HIGH OVER LISBON

LISBON, OH- The Lisbon Blue Devils looked to bounce back against Mineral Ridge on Friday, but it just wasn’t in the cards as the Devils couldn’t get the engine started and came up on the wrong end of a 33-0 shutout.

Dakota Edwards led the Rams passing attack with a 6-12, 147-yard passing performance that produced a pair of touchdowns through the air.  Shakir Perkins rushed 10 times for 59 yards and a score as well.

RJ Schreffler was the stat leader for the Blue Devils, rushing for 63 yards on 10 carries.  Chase McCoy led on defense for Lisbon with a pair of tackles and a sack.

Lisbon (0-2) will take on Valley Christian this week to wrap up non-conference play.

DAILEY DINGER PROPELS DEVILS OVER RIDGE

LISBON, OH- The Lisbon Lady Blue Devils are turning out to be a dramatic bunch.  With a walk-off earlier this week, holding on for a victory on Wednesday night, Thursday’s follow up act was just as thrilling.  The Lady Devils snagged a late lead and defeated Mineral Ridge 13-12 on Thursday. Lisbon trailed 12-10 in the bottom of the sixth inning when McKenna Dailey homered on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring three runs that turned out to be the deciding swing in the ballgame.

Lisbon built a five-run lead in the second inning and then held off Mineral Ridge’s charge. Mineral Ridge scored 11 runs in the failed comeback on a double by Boyer in the third, a error in the third, a double by Ladd in the third, a double by Sigley in the third, a single by Laneve in the third, a single by Whittaker in the third, a double by Ladd in the fourth, a error in the fourth, a double by Bukovina in the sixth, a error in the sixth, and a wild pitch during Teolesid‘s at-bat in the sixth.

Lisbon got things started in the first inning and scored one run when Justyce Vrable singled.  Mineral Ridge scored six runs in the third inning. The big inning for Mineral Ridge came thanks to doubles by BoyerLadd, and Sigley, singles by Laneve and Whittaker, and an error on a ball put in play by Teolesid.

Mya Emmerling was in the pitcher’s circle for Lisbon. She allowed eight hits and nine runs over three innings, striking out five.  Laneve was on the rubber for Mineral Ridge. She allowed 14 hits and 13 runs over six innings, striking out two.

Lisbon racked up 14 hits on the day. VrableEmmerlingMallory GalloAutumn Oehlstrom, and Kenedy Vrable each managed multiple hits.   Mineral Ridge tallied 12 hits in the game. BoyerLadd, and Bukovina all collected multiple hits for Mineral Ridge.
