UNITED GRABS FIRM CONTROL OF THE EOAC DRIVER’S SEAT

SALINEVILLE OH- United came in to Monday night holding a two game lead over Columbiana and Southern in the conference. As they made the trip to Salineville, they knew the Indians would be a desperate team needing a win to have any shot at a conference crown.  They put up a valient fight, but the end everyone was still looking up at the Eagles. United pushed their way to a 50-42 win.

Maddie Kibbler was a difference maker on the floor for United. She led the team with 19 points and hit four threes.  Grace Knight was also in double figures with 10 points for the Eagle’s cause.  Addy Blazer, and Grayson Kidder both finished with 6.

Southern’s tremendous effort was paced by Ashley Shroades who finished with 18 points.  Olivia Kerns also had a great night finishing with 15 points.

Both teams get back at it on Thursday as United will return home to host Wellsville, and Southern will go on the road to travel to East Palestine.
