ASTRO FALCONS MAKE IT INTERESTING AGAINST CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons and Creekside added another thrilling chapter to their Class B Baseball rivalry in the 16U division on Tuesday. Astro clinched a 4-2 win, sealing the game with a 9-2 double play in the 7th inning.

For the Falcons, Jaden Royal went 1-for-3 with an RBI, Rowan Urbach matched that with a 1-for-3 performance and an RBI, and Ty McCaskey contributed by going 1-for-2 with an RBI. Chase Gelpi went 1-for-2, drew a walk, and scored twice.

On the mound, Ben Oddis pitched 5 solid innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 3.

Creekside’s offense saw Blake Burchill go 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk, Freddie Zehetner had a strong game with a 2-for-3 performance and an RBI, Vince Gentile added a hit and a run, and Bryan Chontos went 1-for-2.
