ATHLETIX CATCH FIRE

STRUTHERS OH- Thursday night at Bob Cene Park saw Athletix firing on all cylinders in a dominating 12-1 win over Creekside. Athletix’s offense was relentless from the start, showcasing a powerful lineup that Creekside couldn’t contain.

Evan Tice led the charge, going 2-3 with 3 RBIs, a walk, and a run. Logan Cypher contributed with a 2-3 performance, driving in 2 runs and scoring once. Anthony Triveri was unstoppable, going 3-4 with an RBI and crossing the plate three times. Paul Gubba also had a big night, going 3-4 with an RBI and scoring twice. Caleb Cox chipped in with a perfect 1-1 and an RBI, while Tyler Wardle went 1-2 with an RBI and a walk. Caleb Satterfield rounded out the offensive onslaught with a 2-4 night and scoring two runs.

On the mound, Caleb Cox was in control, pitching 5 innings and giving up just 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 2. His strong outing kept Creekside’s lineup in check and sealed the victory for Athletix.
