ATHLETIX SOLID ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FIELD

STRUTHERS OH-  Wednesday night, Athletix steamrolled the Avalanche in 18U Class B with a mix of great pitching and solid swings by the score of 7-1

Athletix brought the heat at the plate. Anthony Triveri went 1-for-3, driving in 3 runs. Tyler Kirlik chipped in with a 1-for-2 night and an RBI. Evan Tice added an RBI, a walk, and scored a run, while Caleb Satterfield drove in a run and scored one. Paul Gubba was 1-for-3 with an RBI, and CJ Frasco went 1-for-3, crossing the plate once.

On the mound, Ethan Culbertson was a force, pitching a complete game. He went 7 innings, gave up just 1 run on 8 hits, and struck out 5.

Avalanche had some highlights with Drew Gault driving in their lone run, going 1-for-3. Carter DeJulia was perfect, going 2-for-2 with a walk. Nick Solderich scored a run and went 1-for-3, Ivan Rudiak was solid with a 2-for-3 performance, and both David Moyer and Noah Philson chipped in with a hit each.
