BALLISTIC DOUBLES UP EAGLE WEAR
STRUTHERS OH- Wednesday night’s 18U Class B game saw Ballistic outmuscle Eaglewear with an 8-4 victory.
Ballistic came out swinging, with Boyd Kurutz leading the charge. He went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, driving in 2 runs, drawing 2 walks, and crossing the plate twice. Sam Patton also made his mark, going 1-for-2, bringing in 2 runs, and walking twice. Hunter Wilson chipped in with a 1-for-2 performance, adding an RBI and a walk, while Gabe Rusnak picked up 2 walks and an RBI.
On the mound, Carter Wilson was dominant for Ballistic. He pitched 4.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 3 hits, but he fanned 10 batters, keeping Eaglewear at bay.
Eaglewear had their moments, with Luke Julian going 1-for-3, knocking in 2 runs, and scoring once. Sam Owens contributed with a 2-for-4 performance and an RBI, while Shane Sodergren added another RBI. Jake Jenkins rounded out Eaglewear’s effort with a 1-for-3 showing.
