BARONS ARMS BAFFLE ASTRO FALCONS

STRUTHERS OH- The 3B Barons rode a stellar pitching performance to a 6-1 win over the Astro Falcons on Tuesday night in 16U Class B Baseball action.

At the plate for the Barons, Christian Anterock went 2-3 with an RBI. Tristan Blum and Ben Yeckel each added a hit and an RBI, with Yeckel also drawing a walk and scoring a run. Dante Taliani chipped in with a hit, an RBI, and a run.

On the mound, Niko Heakins was sharp, going four innings and giving up just one run on three hits, striking out five without issuing a walk. Blum closed it out, tossing three hitless innings and striking out three.

For the Astro Falcons, Taco Verraco, Gavin Hiscox, and Ben Oddis each went 1-3, with Oddis scoring a run. Jaden Royal drove in the lone RBI for the Falcons.
