BARONS HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER

STRUTHERS OH- As Class B Baseball starts a new week of play in the 18U division, the 3B Barons and Prospects locked horns in a high-scoring showdown, with the Barons emerging victorious 13-8.

Nate Thomas set the pace for 3B with two hits and two RBIs. Ben Miller matched that with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Brady McGuire added two hits, an RBI, and scored twice. Nick Thomas contributed a double and a run, while Nick Parrotto smashed a triple, drove in two runs, and crossed the plate three times. Chase Beran capped off the offensive explosion with a homer, two RBIs, and a run.

For the Prospects, Landon Brunstetter and Avery Maley each had two hits, including a double, with an RBI and a run. Tanner Janosko chipped in with two hits and a run, while Owen Boone added two hits and an RBI.

The 3B Barons’ bats were relentless, and they outslugged the Prospects in this offensive slugfest.
