BARONS REFUSE TO SLOW DOWN

STRUTHERS OH- The 3B Barons kept their streak alive on Saturday in 18U Class B action, taking down Avalanche 10-4. Kallen Durbin led the Barons with a strong performance at the plate, going 3-4 and driving in 3 runs. Joey Campoli chipped in with 2 RBIs and scored twice, while Aidan Leiendecker went 3-5 with an RBI and a run. Nick Parrotto and Ben Miller also contributed key RBIs to keep the offense rolling.

On the mound, Campoli was solid, throwing 3 innings of shutout ball, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 1. For Avalanche, Carter DeJulia drove in 2 runs with a 1-2 performance, and Drew Gault added an RBI and a run, going 2-4. Jack Strausser also contributed an RBI.
