BOARDMAN BOUNCES BACK AGAINST CARDINALS

CANFIELD OH- Boardman bounces back from a tough weekend with a big win over AAC rival Canfield on Tuesday to the tune of 5-1

The Spartans notched three runs in the sixth inning. Cassidy Bryan and Madison Wymer each had RBIs in the frame.

Tori Strines earned the win for Boardman. Strines allowed seven hits and one run over seven innings, striking out three.

Malena Toth took the loss for Canfield. Toth lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out 11 and walking zero.

Boardman hit one home run on the day. Madison Lester went yard in the fourth inning.

Bryan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Boardman in hits.

Canfield tallied seven hits on the day. Madison Angelo and Macey Kalina all had multiple hits for Canfield. Angelo led Canfield with three hits in four at bats.
