BOARDMAN WINS BACK AND FORTH MATCHUP WITH WARRIORS

Boardman was victorious over on Saturday afternoon West Branch, 7-4

West Branch got on the board in the first inning. Sydney Mercer singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Madison Lester earned the win for the Spartans. The righty allowed eight hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out eight.

Jordan Anderson took the loss for West Branch. Anderson went six innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits and striking out ten.

Boardman smacked one home run on the day. Jenna Olexa put one out in the first inning.

Katryn OHoro went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Boardman in hits.

West Branch totaled eight hits in the game. Anderson and Mercer all managed multiple hits. Anderson led with three hits in four at bats.
