CAMPBELL CAN’T KEEP THE EAGLES DOWN

By Ty Bartell

WARREN, Ohio — The Warren JFK Eagles soared to an emphatic 87-55 victory over the Campbell-Memorial Red Devils in a commanding display of basketball prowess.

From the opening tip-off, Warren JFK asserted their dominance, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back. By the end of the first quarter, the Eagles had built a commanding 26-14 advantage over the Red Devils. Their momentum only grew stronger in the second quarter, as they extended their lead to 22 points, heading into halftime with a comfortable 45-23 lead.

If Warren JFK was impressive in the first half, they were even more formidable after the break. The Eagles unleashed their highest-scoring quarter of the game in the third, pouring in 28 points while holding the Red Devils to just 15. This surge gave Warren JFK a commanding 73-38 lead entering the final quarter, with a running clock in effect. Although Campbell-Memorial managed to outscore JFK in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to overcome the deficit, as the Eagles claimed the dominant 87-55 win.

Jaden Rishel earned Player of the Game honors for his impactful performance, contributing 20 points and igniting the Eagles’ offensive onslaught. Nick Ryan also stood out for JFK, tallying 22 points, while Michael Condoleon added 16 points, Henry Phillips chipped in with 14 points, and Nico Ciminero rounded out the balanced scoring effort with 10 points.
On the Campbell-Memorial side, David Moore led the charge with a game-high 23 points, followed closely by Sway Rodriguez with 19 points.

With the win, Warren JFK improves to a 14-6 record on the season and will next travel to Ravenna to take on the Southeast Pirates (9-10) on Friday, February 16th. Meanwhile, Campbell-Memorial (14-6) will look to bounce back when they host Struthers (9-7) on Tuesday, February 20th.
