Coach Jon Elliot and the Austintown Fitch Falcons played host to another top tier team last Friday night, when the Hawks of Bishop Hartley came to town. Unfortunately, the Falcons fell just short, 21-14. Up next for Austintown will be another home match up against another top team as they welcome Erie McDowell to Falcon Stadium.

YSN’s general manager, Steve Leslie, caught up with Coach Elliot to discuss Falcons football and what his outlook is moving forward as the 2019 football season begins to wrap up.

Coach Dan Reardon and the Ursuline Fighting Irish arguably played their most “complete” game of the season last week even though they came up just short in the final seconds against Bishop Watterson down in Columbus. Week eight will see Coach Reardon and the Fighting Irish welcome the Boardman Spartans to Stambaugh Stadium.
