MAGNIFICENT MEDINA

POLAND, OH – The Poland Bulldogs football team has opened up the 2023 season at 2-0 and are looking to keep that momentum building as they start getting into the middle of the season. When it comes to keeping that momentum going and building upon early season success, the Bulldogs will lean on their leadership and keeping each other accountable. One player who will be leaned on a lot on both sides of the football is Antonio Medina! Antonio not only is a vocal leader for this team but he is also one that lets his play speak for itself. Medina is one of the people who is always communicating on defense from his middle linebacker spot and can be seen flying all over the field making plays. Not only does he take over games on defense, he can always be counted on for a key block or big reception from his tightend spot on offense!

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, had the opportunity to sit down with Antonio Medina this week at Combine Brothers to talk about the season so far, what his outlook is moving forward starting with their home opener this Friday night against Firelands, what Antonio wants to do after high school, a rapid fire questionnaire where Antonio gets put on the spot and we get to learn more about who he is as a person and player, and so much more!

SENSATIONAL STEFEK

POLAND, OH – When you think of the Poland Bulldogs football team and previous teams in recent memories, one might think of how dominant the offensive and defensive lines are and have been. The reason these lines have been so dominant is not only that the boys up front take pride in moving the football on offense and shutting down the other team on defense but also that the leadership and tight knit group is strong as ever. One leader on both sides of the ball is senior, Alex Stefek. Stefek is one of those hardnosed players who loves physical football and loves the opportunity to play Bulldog football.

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, sat down with Alex Stefek this week at Combine Brothers to talk about his senior year so far, what his plans are for after high school football, what it means to Alex to be a Bulldog, and a rapid fire question set where we get to learn more about what makes Alex the player and person he is.
