LISBON, OH- In the WWE for years, they had a wrestler named Shawn Michaels who was deemed “The Heart Break Kid.”  Known for his looks and demeanor, HBK broke the hearts of ladies who flocked to be with him all over the globe.  In Lisbon, there’s a different kind of heartbreak going on, and that’s for their opponents.  Leading the charge for the Blue Devils is their esteemed senior signal-caller, Trevor Siefke.

Trevor is no stranger to the game, with a wealth of experience under his belt. In this episode, we dive into Trevor’s journey and his incredible senior year with the Lisbon football team. From facing adversity in his earlier years to becoming a field general on the field, Trevor shares the lessons he’s learned and the selflessness he brings to the game.

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – Coming off another impressive win, this time over the McDonald Blue Devils, 28-7, the Springfield Tigers have improved to 7-2 on the season and 5-0 in the MVAC. The Tigers, one win away from another conference title will take on the Lowellville Rockets in week 10 on Friday night. Once that contest is final, the Tigers will know exactly where they sit in the post season picture. Currently Springfield is the fourth seed in the Division VII, Region 25 district. If that ranking stays true, they will be in line to host a first round playoff game.

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, was able to sit down with senior stars, Dylan Sheely and Conner Sugar, this week at the Tiger’s Table to talk about their regular season and how everything played out since the last time they were on, what the outlook is for this week against Lowellville, what the boys feel can be accomplished as post season play begins next week, and so much more!

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – The Springfield Lady Tigers are led by a great group of seniors, two outstanding student-athletes, Mariah Jones and Nevaeh Cruz have made their mark on the team with their remarkable skills and dedication. Mariah Jones, with her incredible athleticism and fierce determination, has been a key player for the Lady Tigers. Throughout the season, she has amassed an impressive 143 kills, showcasing her ability to consistently find gaps in the opponent’s defense. Her exceptional defensive skills are equally remarkable, with a remarkable 210 digs to her name.

Nevaeh Cruz, another standout senior player, has been a vital asset to the Lady Tigers with her dynamic and versatility. Nevaeh’s powerful serves have earned her 17 aces over the season, often providing the Lady Tigers with crucial momentum-changing moments. Her agility and precision on the court have also translated into 89 points, further emphasizing her value to the team’s overall performance.
