CREEKSIDE RIDES THE WAVE

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside defeated Ballistic on Wednesday night, 10-0, in six innings.

Creekside came out firing on all cylinders, taking a 3-0 lead in the first inning following an RBI from Matthew Reese after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and an RBI single from Jackson Bougher that scored two runs.

Creekside extended their lead to 5-0 in the third inning following an RBI double from Matthew Reese that scored two runs.

Creekside added on an additional run in the fourth inning thanks to an RBI single from Aiden Perry and a wild pitch that brought in another run to take a 7-0 lead.

Creekside capped off their dominant showing in the sixth inning with three more runs thanks to a trio of RBIs from Landon Slevin, Dom Mineo, and Aiden Perry to take a 10-0 lead.

Marco Fusetti completed the shutout shortly after to lead Creekside to victory in six innings due to the mercy rule.

Fusetti only gave up five hits, two walks, and had seven strikeouts in six innings to pick up the win on the mound.

Matthew Reese led the charge on offense for Creekside with three RBIs on the evening.
