DEFENSE FUELS THE AVALANCHE IN LATEST WIN

STRUTHERS OH- Thanks to rock-solid defense, Avalanche cruised to a 5-0 victory over Ballistic on Wednesday. Five runs were all they needed as their pitching and fielding kept Ballistic completely in check.

Dom Miller was clutch at the plate, going 2-4 with 2 RBIs and scoring once. Braden Burnette added to the tally with a 1-3 performance, driving in 2 runs. Isaac McCandless chipped in with a hit and an RBI, while Jayden Amos and Layne Rider each went 1-3 with a walk and a run scored. Elijah Hochtetler was perfect, going 2-2 with a walk and a run, and Brodie Dewberry added a hit and a run to round out the offensive effort.

On the mound, Jayden Amos was untouchable. He threw a complete game, allowing just one hit and no runs while racking up 10 strikeouts. His dominant performance set the tone early and Ballistic never had a chance to get into the game.
