LIBERTY OH- Warren JFK came into their matchup against St. Thomas Aquinas hungry for a positive outcome, and they certainly found it with a commanding 45-8 victory.

The first quarter set the tone for JFK’s dominance as they quickly jumped ahead. Noah Elser bulldozed his way into the end zone with a 10-yard touchdown run, putting JFK on the scoreboard with a 7-0 lead. Special teams joined the party as Marcus Komora electrified the crowd with a stunning 72-yard punt return touchdown, extending JFK’s lead to 14-0. The aerial game got involved too, with Fred Bolchalk connecting with Ian Odille on a 12-yard touchdown pass, capping off a dominant first quarter with JFK up 21-0.

In the second quarter, JFK continued to assert their dominance. Jaylen Murray burst through the defense with a 40-yard touchdown run, pushing their lead to 28-0. Riley Littler made history with a 43-yard field goal, setting a school record and sending JFK into halftime with a commanding 31-0 lead.

The third quarter brought no relief for St. Thomas Aquinas as Jaylen Murray punched in another touchdown from close range, making it 38-0 with 2:24 left in the quarter. Marcus Komora showcased his defensive prowess with a 35-yard pick-six, putting JFK further ahead at 45-0.

While Aquinas managed to score once in the fourth quarter, the damage had been done, and JFK secured an impressive 45-8 victory. This win was a much-needed morale boost for Warren JFK, and their comprehensive performance showed their strength on both sides of the ball.
