EARLY ADVANTAGE SEALS THE WAY FOR AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- Thursday night, the Avalanche took an early lead and never looked back, beating the Astro Falcons 7-4.

Layne Rider picked up the win for Avalanche, allowing three runs on two hits over three innings. Carson Klase took the loss for Astro, giving up four runs on six hits in four innings. Jayden Amos came in to record the final five outs and earned the save.

Will Beckert led Avalanche with three hits and two runs scored. Amos chipped in with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in a run. Chase Mitcheltree added a hit, an RBI, and crossed the plate twice. Gabe Titus and Henry Biggs-SeSantis each knocked in a run with singles.

For the Falcons, Rowan Urbach had two hits and drove in two runs. Taco Verraco hit an RBI triple and scored, while Will Petty added an RBI single. Despite their efforts, the Falcons couldn’t overcome Avalanche’s strong start.
