GARFIELD ALWAYS GETS THE JOB DONE

BROOKFIELD OH- Garfield asserted their dominance in MVAC play on Monday, overpowering Brookfield with a commanding 7-1 victory. The G-Men’s offense came alive, out-hitting Brookfield 13-5 to secure the win.

Leading the charge for Garfield was Kolby Fresch, who went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and one run scored. Maddy Wilson also had a standout performance, contributing three hits, two RBIs, and one run scored. Mikayla Swigonski and Lizzy Moore each added to the offensive onslaught with two hits apiece, driving in runs and scoring.

On the mound, Juliana Genovese delivered a dominant performance, pitching a complete game gem. Genovese allowed just five hits and one earned run while striking out an impressive 10 Brookfield batters.
