EAGLES SEND ROVERS PACKING

ROOTSTOWN, OH- Caleb Hadley was totally on point, smashing three hits to propel Warren JFK past Rootstown with a cool 7-2 win on Monday. Hadley kicked things off with a double in the first, followed by singles in the third and seventh innings, basically owning the plate.

Rootstown snagged the early lead in the first, thanks to a Warren JFK slip-up and a slick sac bunt by Joe Weaver that brought in a couple of runs.

But Warren JFK wasn’t down for long. Michael Condoleon stepped up big time with a full-count single in the second to tie things up.

Come the third inning, Warren JFK took the lead and didn’t look back. Micheal Bartoe grounded out but still got the job done, driving in a key run to edge ahead 3-2.

Jaden Rishel was the boss on the mound, grabbing the win with a solid seven innings, giving up just three hits and two unearned runs while striking out seven. Rootstown’s Austin Biggin, however, had a rough stint, giving up five runs over three innings.

Warren JFK’s bats were hot all game, racking up 11 hits. Condoleon was clutch, knocking in two runs and going 2-for-4. Andrew Lapolla also chipped in with two hits.

On defense, Warren JFK was tight, pulling off a crucial double play to shut down Rootstown.

For Rootstown, Ethan White, Sean Boveington, and Biggin each managed to snag a hit, with Weaver scoring an RBI with his smart play early on.

Warren JFK is gearing up to host Rootstown again on Tuesday, ready to ride their winning wave and close out the series with a bang.
