AKRON OH- When you talk about special athletes in the high school realm, you can, most of the time,
spot them in their respective sports. The game typically seems as if it comes easier to them, as a great balance of knowledge, skill and athleticism is on full display from the premier players. When looking at The Archbishop Hoban Knights volleyball team, junior outside hitter, Amber Watson is one of those players!

A volleyball player in the high school and the club ranks, Watson has proven to be a dangerous hitter, not only on The Knights, but the entire Northeast Ohio region. Racking up a staggering team high 312 kills while also sporting a team best 43.6 kill% and .302 hit%. Not just a one tool player, Watson has also recorded 199 digs and 34 aces on the regular season, good enough for second on The Knights team in both categories.

From volleyball becoming her family to her actual family playing volleyball with her in her young sister Kalie, Amber Watson has had quite the journey in the sport of volleyball so far. A bright future and a gleaming present, The Knights junior has helped her team to a 21-0 regular season record as Hoban looks to be a regional powerhouse in volleyball once again!
