SHOBEL’S ARM DOES THE HEAVY LIFTING

MCDONALD OH- McDonald dominated on Tuesday night, blanking Lowellville in a commanding 7-0 shutout victory.

The Blue Devils outclassed the Rockets both at the plate and on the mound, tallying 7 hits compared to Lowellville’s 3.

Avery Maley led the offensive charge, going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI to his name. Wyatt Wolford contributed with 2 runs scored, while Zach Shobel drew a walk and crossed the plate twice. Logan Presco also chipped in with a hit and a run scored.

On the mound, Shobel was untouchable, tossing a complete-game gem. In 7 dominant innings, he allowed just 3 hits while striking out 7 batters, keeping the Lowellville offense silent throughout the game.

Geno Perry had nice day for Lowellville despite the loss.  He went for multiple hits going 2-3 on the day. Liam Bartlett gathered the third and final hit for the Rockets on the day.
