LAKEVIEW CONTINUES STRONGHOLD OF THE NE8
Lakeview’s volleyball team continued their impressive season with a commanding victory over Niles in three sets. The Bulldogs displayed their dominance throughout the match, showcasing their well-rounded skills and teamwork.
In the first set, Lakeview wasted no time establishing control, winning convincingly with a score of 25-7. Their strong service game was evident, with Mallory Mailach leading the way with an impressive 15 service points. Mallory also demonstrated her serving prowess with an outstanding 9 aces.
The second set followed a similar script, with Lakeview maintaining their dominance and securing a 25-9 victory. The offensive attack was well-distributed, with Reagan Price and Molly Stuart each contributing 8 kills. Mallory Mailach continued her stellar performance, tallying 23 assists to keep her teammates in prime scoring positions. In addition to her playmaking skills, Mallory added 2 blocks to her stat line.
The third set saw Lakeview maintain their focus and finish strong, winning 25-12 to secure the match. The Bulldogs’ defensive efforts were noteworthy, with Addy Allen, Molly Stuart, and Mallory Mailach each contributing 6 digs to help keep the rallies alive.
