OFFENSE SHOWCASE LEANS TOWARDS DURA EDGE

STRUTHERS OH- DuraEdge came alive late, using two five-run innings to topple Eagle Wear 14-9 in Thursday’s 18U league play at Bob Cene Park. Bradey Quimby snagged the win in relief for DuraEdge, while Jake Jenkins took the loss for Eagle Wear from the bullpen.

The game was an offensive showcase. Alex Zordich led all hitters, racking up three hits, including a triple and a double, with five RBIs and a run scored. Andrew Porto smashed a homer, added two hits, four RBIs, and scored twice. Luca Fronzaglio contributed two hits, scored three times, and drove in a run. Eddie Dolansky chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Alex Eusebio had a hit and scored twice, while Drew Kockler hit an RBI double and crossed the plate in the wild win for DuraEdge.

For Eagle Wear, Jenkins and Duan Reynolds each collected two hits and scored a run. Shane Sodergren hit an RBI double and scored, rounding out the highlights in a game packed with offense.
