OFFENSE TAKES CENTER STAGE IN ASTRO’S WIN

STRUTHERS OH- In the highest-scoring game of the night, the Astro Falcons edged out Avalanche with a 10-7 win on Monday at Bob Cene Park. Jay Wrona led the charge for Astro, going 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs and a run. Blake Primrose added to the offensive onslaught with a 2-for-3 performance, driving in 2 runs and drawing a walk. Michael Gun Jr. also chipped in, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and scoring twice, while Aair Fox was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with an RBI, 2 walks, and a run. Brady Miller and Ben Kern each added a hit and an RBI, with Andres Hurkmans contributing an RBI as well.

On the Avalanche side, Noah Philson had a strong showing, going 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs and a run. Owen Dye went 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs and a run, while Jack Strausser and David Moyer each drove in a run. Despite their efforts, Avalanche couldn’t overcome the relentless Astro offense, falling short in the end.
