PROSPECTS BUMP OUT BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- In 16U Class B action on Thursday, Prospects edged out Ballistic in a tight 5-4 win. Aidan Anders led the way for Prospects, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Vincent Weeks had a strong game, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run, while Brandon Toot chipped in with a hit, an RBI, and a run. Camron Herrick was perfect at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 and drawing a walk.

On the mound, Brixton Gilmour threw 2 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits and striking out 3. Brayden Kovarik pitched 2.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits with 2 strikeouts. Nathan Paolucci closed it out with 2.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits and striking out 2.

For Ballistic, Logan Miller went 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs, Todd Jones had an impressive night, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Kyle Gilson also shined, going 3-for-4 and scoring twice. Avery Young added to the offense, going 2-for-3 with a run, and Logan Elich contributed by going 2-for-4.

Colton Hill pitched 6 innings for Ballistic, giving up 4 runs on 10 hits. Despite their efforts, Ballistic fell just short as Prospects held on for the win with clutch hitting and solid pitching.
