PROSPECTS GET WIN NUMBER ONE

STRUTHERS OH- The Prospects snagged their first win of the season, toppling Eagle Wear 7-2 in Class B 18U action thanks to a four-run burst in the fourth inning.

Mason Nawrocki was a beast on the mound for the Prospects, going the distance and giving up just two runs on six hits while fanning eight and walking only two. Reese Roush took the loss for Eagle Wear, allowing five runs on seven hits over three innings.

Avery Maley led the Prospects’ offense with two hits, two RBIs, and a run. Dylan Simpson cracked a two-run double among his two hits, and Reggie Danko chipped in with a double and a run scored. Traynor Janosko added a two-run single to seal the win.

For Eagle Wear, Sam Owens drove in both runs with a two-run triple, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Prospects’ surge.
