SCOTT TAKES OVER FOR URSULINE

In a defensive battle, the Ursuline Fighting Irish secured a hard-fought victory over the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars, winning with a final score of 43-36.
Ursuline took control early, leading 15-9 over St. Joseph Academy at the end of the first quarter. The Irish extended their advantage in the second quarter, heading into halftime with a 22-12 lead. Although the Jaguars made a push in the third quarter, trimming the deficit to 32-26 by the end of the period, Ursuline maintained their lead.

The Irish sealed the game in the fourth quarter, narrowly outscoring St. Joseph Academy 11-10 to secure the 43-36 victory. Lily Scott led Ursuline with an impressive performance, earning the Player of the Game title with a game-high 22 points and 6 rebounds. Carly Casey contributed 10 points and 2 rebounds, while Kennedy Carpenter added 3 points and 6 rebounds.

For St. Joseph Academy, Morgan Wearsch and Bree White both had 13 points and 7 rebounds each, showcasing a balanced effort despite the outcome.
