HUBBARD, OH – The Hubbard Eagles baseball team rose to a very successful season in 2022, posting a record of 13-9. A large part of the success of the Eagles this Spring has to do with the play of Sophomore standout Andrew Kali. Kali was recently named as a 1st Team All-NE8 selection for this season, as he accumulated a .471 batting average and 23 RBIs for Hubbard. Andrew has big aspirations for this summer, as he accepted an invitation to participate in the Dominican Republic this upcoming summer, with the opportunity to sharpen his skills with some of the best prospects that there are to offer. Kali also stated how excited he is to do community work during his time there. Andrew, alongside his former teammate and good friend Jake Hettrick, has collaborated to create a nonprofit organization which is named Inspire More Athletes. The goal of the organization is to help others with mental health struggles outside of sports.
