LOWELLVILLE ROCKETS COACH’S CORNER: (EP. 2) WITH ANDREW MAMULA

LOWELLVILLE, OH- The Rockets Head Football Coach Andrew Mamula sat down at The Station Grille at Melillo’s to talk about the 2022 campaign. Coach Mamula is a graduate of Lowellville High School and was apart of some of the best Rockets teams as a graduate of the 2003 class. This is the best Rockets team under coach Mamula, as the Rockets are undefeated with a 9-0 record after beating Mineral Ridge on the road last Friday. Lowellville is currently the number two ranked team in division seven, region 25 and will look to stay unbeaten this Friday as they host Western Reserve. LOWELLVILLE FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH ANDREW MAMULA

LOWELLVILLE OH- Back in 2002, The Lowellville Rockets and coach Andrew Mamula went undefeated in the regular season.  Unfortunately, a second round exit against Cuyahoga Heights cost them a chance at a possible state championship.  This time, the team is undefeated yet again and looking to continue their undefeated streak under Mamula.

On this episode of Rockets coaches corner, YSNs Ian O’Brien sits down and talks with coach Mamula about the Waterloo game, previewing their matchup against Sebring, the comparison between the 2002 and 2022 team and the progress the players and coach have made from 2020 to now.  The undefeated Rockets will host their MVAC Scarlet Rivals Sebring McKinley Friday 7pm at the Paul Menichini Field.

LOWELLVILLE OH- Lowellville has been a program that has surprised the eyes of everyone. However, the Lowellville faithful knew they had something special with this group of boys.

Brady Bunfofsky, Anthony Lucente and Vinny Ballone are a group of juniors that are all dynamic playmakers for The Rockets.

Highlighted by a strong offensive line front that features Kyle Miller, Anthony Lucido and Max Jones. Lowellville looks to use its explosive offensive to blast off come playoffs.

As Coach Andrew Mamula has been instrumental in building The Rockets back into serious contenders.

Coach Mamula talks with The Running Point crew about the program, including a fun matchup with The Mineral Ridge Rams!
