NILES OH- Niles is feeling very optimistic about this volleyball season, and one of the reasons why is senior captain Logan Lewis. Logan has been a pin in the Niles program for three years, and her senior season promises to be her best. She is only 11 digs away from gathering her 1000th in her career. 1000 career kills is also within her grasp. Lewis is the emotional leader of the team and has a lot of positive energy about this season.

Logan was kind enough to come on to YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about her senior season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about her leadership qualities, her future goals, and so much more. NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Springfield has been one of the most dominant girls soccer programs in the area in the last couple of years. The Tigers have only lost 3 games in the last 2 seasons. That kind of dominance does not come without fantastic leadership. Three seniors captain the Tigers, and they all are hungry for a successful season. Gracie Venturella, and Kylie Medvac both earned 1st team All-District honors in 2020. Venturella was also named in the Steel Valley Soccer Elite IX along with All-County, and All-MVAC honors. Medvac also earned All-County, and MVAC honors. Their third captain Kaila LaMorticella has been on the 2nd team All-District team three seasons in a row.

These three seniors took the time to join YSN’s Running Point to talk about their season.
