ASTROS SWING THEIR WAY TO THE FINALS

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons opened the flood gates in Game 2 of their semifinal against Dura Edge. They clinched a trip to the 18U Championship against Creekside with a 15-4 win.

The Falcons has a spread out offense on the day. JJ Wetherholt has a nice day going 2-4 with 2 runs scored, a walk, and 2 RBI. Connor Miller was perfect at the plate. He went 2-2 with 2 runs scored, 2 walks, and 2 RBI. Jon McColloigh went 1-3 with a run scored, a walk, and 2 RBI.

Braden Gebhardt ends a productive summer with a nice day at the plate. He went 1-3 with 2 of his team’s 4 RBI. Jake Bowen went 1-2 with a run scored, a walk, and a RBI.

Matt Sheppard was able to secure the victory on the mound for the Falcons. He went 3 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 3 hits and striking out 3.

IT’S MILLER TIME

BOARDMAN, OH- A young man of many talents, and stringing together quite the career as a Spartan, Connor Miller is tasked with being a leader of this Boardman team.  A season that has already had more ups and downs than a roller coaster, Miller remains focused and positive for the outcome of the 2019 campaign.
