WARRIORS BOUNCE BACK IN A HURRY

BELOIT OH- After a tough loss to Marlington, West Branch wasted no time bouncing back as they cruised to an 11-0 victory over Alliance on Thursday.

The Warriors’ offense was firing on all cylinders, led by Sara Schmidt who went 2-for-3 with an impressive 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Addie Craven contributed with a perfect 1-for-1 performance, driving in 2 RBIs. Mikayln Woods also had a strong showing, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and scoring a run, while Matti Hawk went 1-for-2 with 1 RBI, a walk, and crossed the plate 3 times. Ellie Tucker was also impressive, going 2-for-2 with a walk and scoring 2 runs, and Josie Milliken added to the offense, going 2-for-4 and scoring 2 runs.

In the circle, Klary McKay was dominant for West Branch, pitching 4 innings of shutout ball, allowing only 2 hits and no earned runs while striking out 7 batters.
